Recipe – Carrot Juice

Carrot juice

Serves: 2


  • Carrots: 2 medium sized, fresh
  • Ginger: 1/2-inch piece
  • Lemon juice: a few drops
  • Honey: 1/2 tablespoon
  • Water: As required
  • Ice Cubes: As required


  • Peel and trim the carrots. Cut it into pieces and deep freeze it for 30 minutes.
  • Blend frozen carrots with ginger, water, lemon juice and honey until very smooth.
  • Pour mixture through a sieve into a bowl, pressing hard on solids.
  • Serve carrot juice over ice, in a glass.
