Recipe – Cucumber Raita / Cucumber Yogurt

  • Curd: 1 Cup
  • Water: ¼ Cup
  • Salt: ½ teaspoon to taste
  • Cumin Powder (Jeera powder): 1 Teaspoon
  • Black Pepper powder or rad chili powder: 1 Teaspoon
  • Fresh Coriander Leaves: Finely chopped, 1 tablespoon
  • Cucumber: Washed, peeled and grated, 1 cup


  • Mix all the ingredients and whisk it well.
  • Refrigerate the raita for 5 to 10 minutes and then serve.
